The Brief
Seedling Music Festival is an annual multi-day music event featuring electronic, indie, and hip-hop artists. For their fifth anniversary, they wanted to elevate their brand presence with motion graphics that could be used across video content, social media, stage displays, and promotional materials.
The Challenge
Music festival branding often falls into predictable patterns—energetic but generic, trendy but forgettable. Pulse needed motion work that would:
Capture the energy of live music
Feel premium and considered, not chaotic
Work across diverse contexts (social, broadcast, stage LED)
Remain ownable and distinctive
The Solution
We directed a two-week shoot across three locations, establishing visual guidelines for:
Photography style and treatment
Color grading and mood
Composition and framing
Typography and layout for campaign materials
Motion and animation direction for social content
The campaign featured 12 hero images, 40+ supporting shots, and comprehensive art direction guidelines for Atlas's internal team to maintain consistency across all channels.
The Impact
The campaign drove a 45% increase in website traffic and generated significant social engagement. More importantly, it established a distinctive visual identity that Atlas continues to build on across all their marketing efforts.
